Add Indicators to claymores/detiation items

Using the Anti personnel kit poses a possible issue. Having the ability to have two separate self Detonation claymores can get a bit confusing if you don't pay as much attention as you should to detail. Normally there is a Blue/Yellow detonation group of claymores. While selecting the trigger it shows these colors. though If you cant remember if you put the blue one facing X direction and the Yellow one facing Y direction Or if you reload, placing more than 2 at a time things may get a bit confusing.
Below is a picture of my proposal
Add some sort of indicator on both the trigger model and claymore/explosive model indicating which color/trigger sets off which explosive device.
UPDATED Concepts [X,O] and numbered [1,2] (1,2 which may get confusing with singular lines)
Please discuss how you feel about this idea and if it is something that you would consider useful in game or not.
Thank you for reading

Might be a wee bit gamey, but I'll say let's hear opinions.

something a little more immersive but yes. simply mark one with chalk, change the color of the whole thing, but for example the insurgents could simply use different cell phones, since cell phones vary in looks.

Nah..... I think it's too "unrealistic".
Maybe on like US and modernized C.E. kits, but not like INS.
The "Beep or w/e" is good enough.

how about one celly has a yellow dot and one a blue dot, like one key coloured in.
no need to change the ieds/claymore just in a pinch nice to be certain what one ure doing.
i usally have a system where i say blue left yellow right etc. its no supposed to get to complex just a pisser when u do the wrong one in a hurry.

A good memory is your best bet. Place the claymore in slot 4 first, then place the slot 5 claymore, makes it a lot easier to remember.

I think that is a good idea. Good if you forget and good if a friendly picks up the kit so they know whats what

Since it could help both the AP kit user and his teammates, why not? You still have to run over and check if you forget. Of course somebody has to do it and people are busy ^^

Just add small "x" for one of the detonators and the claymores that are detonated with it. Make it seem like someone had marked them with a marker pen.

just a dot would be fine, better than nothing. Just some ideas to make it fit better into all the other hard work being done.
I always put my dual ieds/claymores in same spot x 5-10 in a circle and blow the 2nd string when they start to revive, so to me if your going to do it, make it add something more than a reminder, make it art.

Interesting idea, although I think that marking it with color might made them to easy to spot. Although some indicator which one is which would be nice.

Green detonator/Green Claymore in one slot... Yellow-ish Claymore/Red Detonator in the other?

I agree that this may be useful, while we should remember which AP device is linked to each slot sometimes you forget or maybe you pass on the kit to someone else.
However I think the colours are a little to obvious. Maybe add a "4" or "5" to the back of each claymore model, in chalk or marker pen. Then you can go over and check which weapon slots correspond to which devices.
Cheers, Murkey.

At least a small white chalk marked 'I' for the first set, and white chalk marked 'II' on the second set.
...mongol...

Mark it with tape!

Tape is the soldiers best friend!
If you just mark the back of the claymore it should be ok.

Just a few re creations I made for you guys ...
The there is 1,2 numeral group idea and the 2nd is a simple X,O group Idea ... oppose to having 2 or 3 ( 1 ) group claymores and 2 or 3 ( 2 ) group claymores .... There can be an ( X ) group and an ( O ) group .. the same thin could be done with + and - groups but I figure the simple lines from the ( - ) and ( 1 ) may confuse come new players.
What do you think?
