Hello i have a problem with bf2 pr and Anders Sound mod. I dont know how to download the Sound mod ive googled it but i dont find any help. And it seems like its lagging when im aiming in a second just look at the video and it will show what problem i have when im aiming in. Battlefield 2 Project Reality Problem - YouTube I NEED HELP.

Did that lag start after you downloaded anders sound mod and did you play on a multiplayer server or did you host one on your PC?

The aiming lag have always been i bought the game yesterday and ive played it like 30 min so. I was playing on a Project Reality server. I did not host one my self. Oh i saw that i will do one there then.

it is pretty common that people get stuttering on PR.

I get it aswell and sometimes when I scope up, but not very often. it is probably something you just have to live with.

also fallujah is a real FPS killer for me and make me lag like that more often then other maps.

I hesitate to move this, because the PR:BF2 Support forum isn't really suitable. We don't have an open PR:A2 Support section anymore.

I'll let the OP chose. Post in Support or continue posting here. Or were you only mistakenly putting A2 in the original post, Xorgz? (No idea if Anders made a sound mod for it)

In case any one doesn't tell you, anders' sound mod is for BF2 R, not ARMA2

Thought he might have made a second one, I have no clue about PR:A2 because I don't have ArmA 2

I am so sorry guys i was so tired when i done this thread i changed it to BF2 now sorry!

Is your BF2 and PR installed on a hard disk drive(HDD) or a solid state drive(SSD)?

If it's on a a HDD, it's possible the HDD needs to be defragged, because the sound mod files were put in different area of HDD.

Another thing if you have a GPU that can run BF2 R at max settings, try turning off VSync, the visual stutter you are seeing is actually a form of VSync induced screen tearing.

That slight visual stutter when bringing a weapon to scope is not uncommon. It's possible the soundmod has attenuated your senses to the timings of the scope animations. I know that specifically to the US marksman rifle, Anders soundmod screwed with my reload/settle/aim/shot sequence I had gotten very comfortable with using the regular PR sounds.

I have my battlefield 2 installed on a SSD Disk. I always got the aim bug before the Anders Sound mod. But when i play battlefield 2 multiplayer not Project reality just normal battlefield 2 i got my aim clean and stuff. It's almost that i cant play with the aim bug. I'm gonna test uninstall battlefield 2 and everything that name with project reality and we will see how it goes.
