Let's get some Round Robin Clans tourneys organized for PR1.0 release!

Seeing as we have 100 man server options, I think we can pull off a tourney where each team consists of 2 or 3 or 4 different clans working together. We might only get 3 or 4 teams, but in a double elimination round robin system that would give us all the chance for organized play for several matches each weekend for the next month.

Then we can also run some smaller 32v32 or 16v16 tourneys on just the new and greatly revamped maps so we can get every clan no matter the size of active playerbase back into the game.

Who has time to organize such an event?

Probably because he has no experience doing such a thing plus he said he had no time. I get your point though.

I like this idea it would be good to see a friendly competition go down.

since it is a weekend comming and there are a lot of ppl. visiting the site and a lot of ppl. playing maybe, just maybe to try and organize that EU vs. NA thingy on the fly. can that be done what do you say..

I wanted to do something like this before tossed it around CIA and the guys were receptive, wanted to team with HOG but they said no.

hey synthetic, with 24 hrs notice how many CIA guys can you get? i'll check on our end how many =]H[=, i would guess turnout would be big. i bet we can also get bunch of prwars, hog, tg, bia, guys to pitch in....

i was thinking maybe rest of today 8/2/13 and tomorrow to gather and organize (agree on server location, and gather troops, notify EU clans, etc), and have a match on sunday. would ask devs for help with rules etc.


...i should probably check in with my "chain of command" since i don't think i should be posting this but hell, this can happen and it would be epic on the 1.0 roll out

Sounds like a cool idea, but we'll pass. Need to learn how to play the new version first.

I'm of the same opinion, give it a few weeks and if some thing is organised I'm sure a lot of NwA members will attend.

This. Too early. No one knows the game yet. The version is not bug-free and 100% stable.

Would not make sense to do it now. The idea sounds good though. I'll keep an eye on this.

PRTA is not interested at this moment. Thanks for the invitation though.

TG is not interested at this time.

Third ID is not interested at this time, we're still building on our own clan before we will enter anything like this.

I like the concept though, just reckon its too early just after release.

We're participating in the FH tournament. Will have to see what the dates etc are

I want CIA and H to work together maybe do a few CIA & H vs the world rounds to get teamwork working. Get the groups used to each other. We used to do CIA v Pubs many moons ago.

Would be interesting but my only concern is the crash rate of servers. With many servers crashing each round or 2, I don't believe its stable enough to run this kind of event yet.

we are trying to build up NA team...but first we want to practice. looks like HOG, CIA, H are onboard, and awaiting answer from prwars and you guys. details in that PM.

server crash....fuk it...fight through it, what can you do....

Did anything ever become of this idea?
