Hi everyone.

I just pre-downloaded the PR 1.0 iso, and its asking me for a password. After it takes me to the password page, I have 4 passwords to choose. It seems these option are dependent on which version of BF2 and or PR2 I have. I do not have any version of PR2 currently installed, only BF2 updated to the 1.5 patch. So my questions are:

1. do I have to have PR2 installed to install 1.0?

2. if yes to the above question, can I just wait for the release and avoid having to download the project reality 0.96 (or whatever the latest version is).

The password for the PR 1.0 installer will be available at 1200 GMT today. So as of right now just install BF2, the 1.41 patch, and 1.5 patch and wait until then. You will then be able to put in the password and install the mod.

Thanks for the quick response. Will there be a new password at 1200 gmt? I ask because the four passwords do not seem to apply to someone who does not have PR2 currently installed. Thanks agian!

Yes. Just wait until 1200 GMT. Don't worry about having anything installed besides BF2 right now. They will be posting a new password for the installer today.

The whole point was that everyone could download the new version before letting everyone install it. It will allow for everyone to join servers as soon as the password is released.
