Why is there an INS layout for Burning Sands with "flags"?
BLUFOR wins the match in 30 minutes... without destroying "any" cache

30 minutes? I had a 10 minute match just now.

how exactly? there is a flag the Brits cannot cap, so they can't win by just capping
edit, its the ticket cost thing, I was under the impression that this wasn't carried over to insurgency but apparently it was.
This is a bug and I've raised it with the relevant coders.

The first screen shot didn't take, the eastern most houses in this map screenshot, and a wall next to them, use the mouse pointer as an indicator, are all floating.

Ladder to Hell: (use the mouse pointer as an indicator,)

noticed one thing. on burningsands INS we got both flags and caches.
we lost 2 flags as insurgent/taliban and we lost the game but we never lost a cache. I dont know if this is meant to be or if it is a bug.

I really dont like the new flag layout. It is only city now and uses very what the map has to offfer. Some of my best rounds happend when attacking/defending one of the more open flags on burning sands(oil fields, crash site, arar village...), now it turned into kashan with city instead of bunkers in terms of flag variety

I dont know but i dont like the new street layout in the city. The streets that lead from north to south are way to large and it weels like multiple highways meet with the west-east street. They do not provide cover and i simply think it doesnt look realistic, small alleys or normal streets would do better i think, so it just looks like Sim City 2000 and the city doesnt feel like a city.

Which dot are you on the minimap? I know you're in Squad 8, but are you NW of squad 3's rallypoint or are you down by your squad leader?
Thanks

I love the Insurgency/ AAS hybrid.
Do more of it. All ins maps should be done like this.

The INS layer is way to short, the flags are a great idea I just wished they worked properly. I haven't played an INS round that lasted long enough to kill a single cache, in fact I've only seen a cache spawn one time out of at least 10 rounds on this map.
Great concept, flawed execution. Once the flag issues get dealt with this should be quite a fun layer on a nicely updated map.

Yeah, I remember I was having quite a bit of fun in a round of Burning Sands INS, only to find that before our first cache was even destroyed we had already lost. I was kinda sad about that

True that if the brits lose a the flags their tickets will bleed fast. Maybe too fast.
But if they hold the flags it leads to a great game.
