When i join any game, i have no spawn screen whatsoever. Even after i hit enter. can anyone help?

I have this problem too.. I can't do anything when I join a server. Would really appreciate any sort of fix.

Guys be sure not to ALT+TAB out of the game...
I have Winsuck8 too and everytime i alt+tab out of the game (while loading, or to set the game to high priority) my HUD dissapears.

NO more spawnmenu, no more map, no more Chat.
Everything is gone, except for the console.

When you have lost your HUD, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete while ingame. "Metro" screen appears, now press ESC. You should be back ingame and see your HUD again.

Edit: It's a known Windows 8 issue and the only fix for it seems to be Ctrl + ALt + Delete "trick" at the moment.

Yep, it's a problem with the way Alt+tab works. You can either use the steps above to fix it, or run it in windowed mode where it won't happen any more.

There's programs like this one that will remove the title bar and make it pretty much the same as fullscreen.

If you want to permanently run BF2.exe and PR programs as High Priority, you can download ProcessLasso Free version, and set the BF2 and PR programs to always launch as high priorty, and in gaming mode for network access allocation.
