Looks to me more like your GFX card is overheating or possibly problems with its drivers or something like that.

Few of my clanmembers reported that they got the same problem.
Example:

Also, there was some discussion in game chat about grass, didn't took it much attention.

More information can be seen this thread from 2010 (not a new issue): https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f26-pr ... tones.html

It's either your card overheating and/or your undergrowth settings (or a combination of the two).

Negative, this is a map issue

this occurs sometimes when terrain has compiled badly for users on LOW settings

to correct this, recompilation of terrain is required

this issue was seen on Lashkar valley in the past

I used to get this on my old machine playing Lashkar Valley, and one other map I cant remember now, but not seen it since I upgraded it into this decade!

I played 1.0 on Beirut and didn't have that issue. So it's not everyone having it.

I led a squad on Beirut earlier today and only one guy out the 8 saw rainbow grass. The rest of us saw regular green grass. If anyone knows what causes this for sure, please let us know. I'm guessing it's a setting or type of video card (or overheat).

In the past it wasn't just grass and rocks:

Someone who was here around early 2010 must still be around and remember the fix for this?

Not sure if the case here, but this can also happen if you ALT-TAB out of game while its in loading screen. Maybe try deleting the game cache and see if it fixes itself?

Only people with low settings see this.

Reminds me of lashkar valley but back then even people with high settings could see it.

Yeah confirming glitch, I just saw it today. IM having some issues with my hard drives and AHCI drivers, and occasional hiccups/stuttering, so I tried lowering graphic settings to see if helps, and it did a bit, but when I saw this it was hilarious.

The fix is to bump your terrain/objects detail settings up, or what Rudd said.

I have had very same LSD enhanced grass like original poster and only in Beirut.
I think it's related to AMD graphic cards driver issues. ATi had those a lot and AMD still getting those plenty enough. Last time I swore that I will buy Nvidia's card, but I bought AMD 7850 because it's a bargain.
Hippy grass does not bother me. It's only located in one area, at least I don't remember seeing it anywhere else than place on pictures in original poster's post.

Its not AMD/ATI driver issue, its a map issue not optimized for low graphical settings. I have Nvidia and very same "problem". Still haven't tried on high settings though.
