I experienced this heavily last night and came to the conclusion I didn't like it, I sorely missed them.

I've never found the mortars OP as they don't kill may players as they take cover quick, plus on a 2km map they are easy to find and kill.

With assets being so hard to kill mortars have now that use, but with the perm UAV to walk them on it may have been OP, why I guess it was removed.

Also a few players do enjoy the different gameplay mortars provided, and as above with 100p on a 2 km they would be found and attacked far more often then before.

Are you sure they can't be placed?

Removed mortars for small maps (<2km).

They still exist on 2x2km maps. Just used them on Kokan yesterday.

In case you are talking about offmap mortars, that is a mappers choice.

I could place mortars on kokan and that is 2km map, and I have seen mortars on albasrah aswell.

Oh someone was trying on Fallujah last night isn't that a 2km? He was getting not available for your forces as US.

EDIT just checked Fallujah is 1km doh never noticed that anyway still missed them....

Can't change title to 1km to hide my ignorance Damn!
