Lag/stutter in aircraft

This will happen on any map. Some vehicles will cause strange intermittent lagging. The Ospery has been doing that, as will hueys. It is visible not only as lagging control of the vehicle, but even the interface (map, scoreboard, etc.) will stutter.
Strangely enough, if there are alternative vehicle options, (littlebird over blackhawk, etc) the other option will behave normally.
A second spawn of the laggy vehicle will fix it iirc.

i get the same issue. one example off-hand is the AAS layer of ramiel. the bh on this layout kills my fps, creating a very strong stutter. if i get out of the pilot seat, or ride shotgun, then all is well. i've had this with the cow as well, map/layout i don't remember. it's only some of them, and i just avoid flying when it pops up. curious to know what's causing it. you mention the "second spawn." i don't know if that's true for me, but i'll try it out sometime.
