I get that error, I just updated the game today to 1.0.34.0 and before it worked finely.
Anyone know how to fix this?
I tried restarting already and also resetting the PR documents folder.

in the launcher go to options then audio and turn off radiotransmission audio queue that fixes it

I have the same issue, when ever you restart or turn off your pc it gives the error.

I tried turning off radio transmission and it still gives the error.

I found if you un-install and re-install the game, It gets rid of the error.

Greatings mate:

I had the same problem and i solve it by simply add an exclusion for all Battlefield 2 folder and sub-folder on my AV Software (Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013). It worked for me, try yourself. Good Luck

I know this is a late post, though I have a fix that I suppose is better late than never for those of you who are still having this issue.

I have fixed the error:

1103: there was an error linking the game process

The fix I used for my personal situation was to delete my PR profiles in My Documents. Then restart the game and the issue should be resolved.
