Lets gather a list of posts that new players can read and hopefully make the community better.
  • Don't be afraid to ask questions
  • Squad leaders are there to lead squads in this game, listen to them.

  • PR is not BF3 or COD. It's really easy to die here. So take your time and don't run like Rambo.
  • Be polite to others.
  • Use tarrain to get your advantage

  • Tell people you are new to the game
  • Always make sure what you do or want to do is something within the rules and okay gameplay-wise
  • Pay attention to the chat, not to miss important informations regarding the game itself, advices or warnings of any sort - a lot of people don't and it's a big flaw

  • Don't take the kit you like (sniper, combat engineer ...) without asking the squad leader, rifleman is tolerated usually
  • When revived, cover the medic instead of looking at him
  • Check the map regularly so you don't teamkill as much or fall behind from your squad
  • Vehicles are valueable in PR, logistics trucks are for supplies, not transport
  • Spawn when and where the sq leader wants you to spawn

  • When in a building, and no one is covering the stairs, YOU do that.
  • If coming inside a building , or any short corner where there are friendly soldiers, say "Friendly coming in" at local. This will make sure you won't get team killed

  • As a medic wait until the area is secure to revive people, not while you are in mid combat.

If your squad dies dont leave the squad instantly. It takes a lot of time to organize a squad and it takes even longer when some people are leaving and joining all the time.

This is more of a guideline than an actual rule. As somebody plays medic and gets a feel for the role its more and more up to the discretion of the player. I revive people mid combat a lot due to the fact that having one more gun pointed at the bad guys is usually the difference between winning and having your squad wiped. And you know what? I hardly ever get shot (or even shot at) while doing it.

I cant tell you how frustrated I get when people are down behind cover or in a relatively safe place and the medic is cowering in the back like a goddamn puppy. If you have a halfway decent chance of reviving somebody then do it. Don't just sit in the back as your squad is getting wiped.

  • Your single actions can and will get the entire squad killed. Everything said here is to avoid this from happening.
