I need some help, I've been trying to get the group that I play with (Validus Gamers) - our main game is Planetside 2 to pick up Battlefield 2 in order to get in some PR gaming with them. But they have so far been hesitant because they don't want to spend $20 on getting an 8 year old game. (which I don't blame them. Especially since you are paying for Battlefield 2 + Special Forces + All 3 Expansions when the 3 Expansion Packs are now free [gotta love EA...])

Any deals that you guys have seen for Battlefield 2 that are going on right now? I'd be willing to buy it for them if I have to. I just don't know of anywhere with any deals currently for the game.

You can just buy the base game, no need for any expansions.

The "complete collection" is the cheapest option I can find online.

I bought my last copy roughly a year ago at wal-mart for $10. Not sure if they still stock it. I think they do though... If not, here you go.

Around 10? in Origin. There was a 75% off not long ago but expired.

Oh! If you're interested, you can get BF1942 (the first one) for free. Even it's in the demo section, it's the complete game.

You can get BF2 key for 9zł (3$) on polish version of ebay.
