Howdy all,

I'm curious to whether this feature was permanently removed, or if it's to be added again in the future (future update, patch) because this (at least was) one of the most fun moments during a map change, where everyone with a slow hard drive talked shit for a few minutes, prior to deployment, fractions and kit selection?

It was a clusterfuck in the loading screen, people were making obscene noises and offensive jokes, since admins couldn't do anything about it in the loading screen. People asked DEVs to remove the prematch talk, and they did.

I agree with you, because it is boring when no one is talking.

People still make loud sounds, screams and painful comments during deployment, sir!

The only difference is that the admins could actually warn/kick/ban people in deployment.

In the perfect world IMHO local should be off during squad forming time, as everyone can hear it and sometimes it's really hard to sort out you squad because of it.

I found it oddly enjoyable to hear people making weird *** noises on mumble during map change.

I liked the random shit people would say during load times.I mean if you hated it that much you could always take a piss during them.

There is a mumble mute button for a reason. Use it if you don't want to hear annoying sounds.

Let others laugh their asses off during loading times

The last thing I want to hear again is people spamming shit into mumble when I'm loading the next map.

I'd like this feature back. I can't believe the dev's removed this. Especially when you had, say a great dogfight with the enemy and want to quickly talk about it.. Like the others mentioned before, if you don't want to listen to the people use your mumble's mute function but bring back that feature.

This was one of the awesome features of PR where people could talk always be connected, have fun, relaxate after intense match, change experiences, encourage each other during mapchange. And I was really disappointed finding out about it being forbidden for players now. Why? Give it back, return it please.

Besides it does hurt PR, because map loading is VERY LONG, and very boring, and some people just make their mind to do other real life things and leave the game for the next match, instead of tiresomely waiting. That's why we loose lots of players during map change now. But if there was chat - people get hooked up talking and consequently smoothly get to play the next match too. See, maploading chat had many advantages for the game, for the community.



And for all those few whiny brats, if you don't like it then fine don't listen, go drink some coffee, exercise, take off headset, read a paper or do thousand other activities, BUT PLEASE don't forcefully SPOIL the FUN for the numerous OTHERS!

COD lobbies allow talking while selecting the map. Go there for nonsense fun.

It's mostly people who bang on about their KDR who dominate the convo.. My challenge is to start a blog and see how many people subscribe that give a fuck.

I miss it. Never was bothered by all the happy random chatter and noises in between rounds. Liked it really. Made it more feel like a good night out with the guys or something

I use the map load time to smoke...and I like to smoke in silence!

You can either bind some key to mute the sound or if you have hotkeys set to control the volume you can just press "lower volume" until the sound gets muted.

Thats how I do it.
