ok lots of servers out there

played tnt first time in ages

cant handle over 20 players a team or over 2km maps CPU CRAPTOP never guna happen

i PROPOSE 20 v 20 rename sever 20v20 . Really loved gettin back into BF2. its limited !!!

PR skirmish or under 2km map runs fine on a 1.65ghz dual core 6 gb ddr3 ram 6320 intergrated gpu

lets have a server that caters for the underclass

ME AND 100 OTHER PLAYERS BE THERE THE LOWER END OF THE SERVER LIST IS FULL OF US!!

listen up geeks this isnt about an upgrade the lower portion of the server list is full of people with poor internet connection or lower spec machines u elitist geeks annoy me, if someone has something useful to add please add it else STFU

Good cheap parts for upgrading

not everyone can upgrade, wether its a financial situation, or because the only way to upgrade would be to drop 800 bucks minimum on a new PC like me since my rig is so out dated. unfortunately kittykiller is one of the few who sits in between being able to play all of PR or none of PR. most people who cant play all of PR cant play any of PR because its not a very optimized game. correct me if im wrong but i believe the people who have trouble playing PR smoothly just give up on it after a little while. perhaps not worth creating a small server but id love to be proven wrong. would like to see a server like this one day

Make a resume, find a job, work until you have enough for a decent gaming PC.

Just saying, but I find myself getting 30 - 45fps on some maps with a $2000 gaming desktop. This is because BF2 is limited to using only 4GB of memory.

Further i disagree that its niche at least 100 players last night,i ran into were either playing 15 fps on main servers or on the "seeding" servers playing 15 v 15 etc to get good fps and have fun.

It is not the case that most PEOPLE CAN OR CANT RUN PR NOT TRUE. So So So many people i run into even members of clans etc are running on low fps. Lets cater to that!!!

We do not need anymore elitists in PR, the way things are with me its not time to get a new PC (i have my own adult reasons)

Im Serious a 20 v 20 server that was labeled HIGH FPS 20v20 would fill im sure of it.

So to anyone that has a server liscense and a server thats quite empty this would be a great way to create a thriving albeit small community.

Talk to PRTA, Wicca about doing it running smaller maps with a locked amount but be ready for lots of seeding....

we server owners love our servers so much we run 100p servers.

Yep, 50% of world population got a >1ghz smartphone.....

Some people just cant afford a new rig, a server for these would be nice and they do not limit the game or other players with that, i think its a nice solution.

I would advise you to start a server yourself with those who cant play the bigger maps and player populations, I cant play because of my laptop, but I dont expect others to solve my problem (older mac, cant really play anything more complicated then all on low starcraft2). Servers are not cheap in the long run and a server with 40 players will not be automaticly always full, it still requires alot of the owners to keep it civil and seeded. Basically those who would set up such a server needs to have something in it, they are spending money and time on a server they really dont care about as they rather would spend it on a bigger server.

Berating other people for having better jobs than you/a job and being able to pay for better hardware, is childish.
Honestly you do not seem like a working adult to me, otherwise you would perhaps sacrifice some money every month to run a server of your own with a low player count. If you cannot do that due to financial reasons, please do not attack people just because they suggest you to get a job, and pay for your hardware so you can play on practically any server.

If you are in such a situation where you have literally no money to drop into gaming, you have bigger problems, like buying food and paying the bills. Focus on those instead of gaming, perhaps acquire further education to net you a better job, just understand that if your situation is so grave that you cannot drop a few hundred for some gaming gear, you should not be focusing on it.

MY POINT BEING i see so many servers empty!!

this is a unique oportunity to create a community out of a dead server

the guy above is a jerk, no im not buying a server no im not WILLING TO BE INSULTED OVER AN ATTEMPT AT PROBLEM SOLVING BY some jerkoff.

This isnt such a selfish thing as u may think, given that id be up for promoting and seeding.

For many of US PR is the ONLY game we play the reason we got into it is we could run it, and i am in now way criticising THE WAY the MOD HAS GOT AWESOMER!

As for a "new" type of server, it takes dedication, especially for something new. You would need to find a core group of players, set a time to play, and stick to the schedule. In this way your audience will find you.
