making PR 1.0 work with BF2 installed through steam?

So I stupidly just bought and installed BF2 the complete collection through steam not even realizing that it could potentially not work with PR 1.0....Will it? Anything special I have to do?

I have same thing from steam. Ive been playing since V .97. you should be good!

You should be good though lol because me and my friend are running same BF2 from steam. If you experience any crashes...refer to this post----->

This is how i fixed my crashing. Its got to do with windows firewall. If you want, you can read over it and do it before launching game after you have game and mod installed and ready for use.
