Solved-Terrain textures missing/ invisible in PR 1.0

Hi there,
I downloaded and installed the iso without problems, game is running fine but all the ground/terrain textures (not: bushes or tres) are missing in every map.
It looks like shallow water instead. Tried reinstalling three times, same result.
Please help, is there a way to fix that problem?

It has to do with anti-aliasing. Try turning the AA to 0 in the in-game options.

You can also try setting your Windows 7 visual display style to basic, i.e. no transparency. (Under control panel, Appearance and personalisation, Personalisation. Just select Windows 7 Basic. Aero Themes caused me issues like this in PR before.

Thanks but AA was to 0 anyway. Doesn?t seem to be the reason for that problem.
Thanks also for the other hint A.Wickens, but I never had this issue before with all other versions of pr - also running in WIN 7. The terrain looks like a mirror, flat water- some kind of that. All stones, bushes, trees, houses are visible though, are you sure you had the same problem that was solved by switching the settings to win 7 basic? Do you mean nvidia control panel?

Wow, that's strange. That's the first I've heard of it being an issue with AA at 0. I'm very interested in what the fix will be for this one.
I've also heard if people run in a window, it sometimes fixes it.

Okay, I tried everything you guys told me to.
Sorry, did not work - same effect like before (with personalization in windows basic and anti al. in off, I also tried all ingame graphic settings in low - still no success).
My download was from gamers hell server, everything worked normal.
Never had this problem before...

This happens with AA turned on as well, sir, but then all shadows are black or flickering rapidly.

PSYRUS, thanks a lot, you were right.
I solved the problem by not only switching off anti-aliasing ingame, but also by going into nvidia control panel and switching off anti-aliasing in both menues (very important: you have to switch it off not only in the list for selectable executions/games, but also in the general settings menue for your nvidia high performance processor).
Problem solved

, thanks again, very nice hint

I've also seen this with some screen resolutions

Yeah, you are right. At first I changed my desktop resulution and also ingame resolutions.
But after having the textures back (as I described above), I changed all back to the original resolution and it still worked

Right, it's a multiple step solution
1. Turn off AA in PR.
2. Turn off AA in Nvidia Control Panel, both for BF2.exe and PRBF2.exe and under general options
3. DELETE your shader cache at Documents\ProjectReality\mods\bf2\cache
4. Start PR, load maps
5. Exit PR.
6. Turn on Nvidia Control Panel AA again.
step 1 through 6 works.
step 7. Turn on AA in PR options.. this I don't know if it works longterm, it could cause the problem to return.
