My buddy is over at my house right now and we cant figure out how to setup a LAN server for the lives of us. In .97 we used to play together every week via inputting the IP address that popped up on the loading screen, but in 1.0 there is no address?

Even when in game we click on "server info" and no IP pops up. We are both using internet accounts and are both on windows 7. Any help is appreciated!

Open up a command prompt on the computer that's hosting (Win+r, cmd) and type in "ipconfig". Look for whatever connection you're using (Wireless LAN or Ethernet) and you should have an IPv4 address listed. The other computer should be able to use that IP to connect.

thanks! But it keeps disconnecting the non host :/ We're both using different CD Keys. Any suggestions?

Have any network settings been changed since then?
