I like the indication that you've started transmitting and when you're done. I also like hearing this for other squad members when they talk.

well its fun to hear unless people are just randomly hitting their push-to-talk button and all you hear is something like a distrubed radio :/

Well then they'd probably get kicked from the squad for doing that.

I like them too. Actually the game has a completeness with them I feel.
trolls gonna troll, just got to take the good with the bad.

Not sure what the point of the thread is, but I like them too. Would be interesting if they were like real radio's where only one person can talk at a time

I like the quiet beep which was there when the sound was first implemented. Not a fan of all other sounds implemented after this. Especially the conventional "Shhh" gets quite annoying when there is lot of communication going on.

Yeah that would be the next step, though it would require some serious teamwork ability.

Yeah. I like them, too. The "begin transmission" sounds from other players could be a bit louder.
Another suggestion: If possible it would be cool to have some sort of audio background noise or sound disturbance during the transmissions that are not local. That way you can differentiate between local and radio transmissions without looking at the pop ups. Sometimes its very confusing if everybody speaks at the same time (local and radio I mean)
They did something like that (and even far more and ambitious) in ARMA 2 ACRE mod. (great mod by the way)

YES! That would be EPIC.
Also one player at a time on squad comms would add a layer of realism

I like the ability to turn them off to avoid noise pollution . Some players run with a bad microphones integrated on their webcam and it's already complicated for me to understand all english discutions
