[Map] Test Bootcamp (1km) [Released] - v1.6

This map is included in the base game and no longer requires a separate download and installation process.


This map is used in PR team as a testing map.
It can be used for training(weapons, vehicles, cqb, forest fighting,...), modding, testing,...

The map features all factions(v1.6.0.0) with 99% of their vehicles on many different layers.
As said it features a combat simulation village, a shooting range but also a vehicle range with some terrain variations and targets to shoot at including water for boats and amphibious water testing.

There aren't any flags to capture, this map is made for training and testing purposes. Here you have a list of what layer features what factions:

On each range, the two targets to the right are destroyable(they respawn).
They take the same amount of damage as a player before getting destroyed so this is good to test weapon power.

Some known issues:
-the tickets aren't changeable therefore on the skirmish layouts there is a shortage of tickets.
hopefully it will one day have it's own (training) gamemode which allows for a more advanced setup.

Don't expect updates for this map very often.
Feel tree to use this map on your server, but remember to keep yourself to the server license ;)

there is only one thing that you might be aware

on the aas 16 version (ru-usmc) the usmc have mec voices, at least it has on local

That's unfortunately a limitation of the map system. All layers use the languages of the nations on AAS64(which is FR vs ARF(using mec voices)).

You should've just made it US vs RU on the default layer, that way its something everyone sorta knows.

Anyways great map 3rdID is now making use of it for our unit BCT's :)

Also, i know you said no updates soon, but you could put an airport scene somewhere in there with the ACT and Airport Terminal... The Warlord Palace and normal Palace wouldnt hurt... just a bit of CQC and room clearing stuff.

Otherwise... i have wanted something like this badly. :D

Yeah, wanted to do this, just didn't have the time for it at the time, but will definitely be done if I ever make another version. But tbh I don't care much about the voices :p

Yeah, that's why I put the chemical facility static near the entrance. But obviously I could add more as the map still has room for it :) Feel free to keep giving suggestions, while it's true I'm not going to do anything on this for a (long) time, if I ever do I will take a close look at your suggestions!

Me: I would love to see an airbase with all air vehicles on this map as well and an area where heli and jets can train. That way we would only need one map on the servers instead of two. Pluss this map is really well made.

Did you notice it's only 1km map? How can you train air assets on 1km map? Runway would have to go through nearly whole map.
