when im hosting a local game, me buddy cant join throuht IP, there is no IP adress shown while im in game or anywere else.

he can't connect to your game directly. You will need to use a vLAN like Hamachi to play coop together.

"local" will normally imply LAN, Local Area Network.

That's not a bug, if you need technical assistance how to play cooperative, please make a thread in our Support Forum.
