sometimes i get really low fps on some maps its really annoying. i play on low settings i dont know if i need to delete something or what please help.

Does your notebook have a discrete GPU or are you really playing on the HD 6520G?

If you have a discrete GPU we have a solution, so let us know. Your OPtimus is selecting the wrong GPU when starting PR .exe files.

If you are playing on the 6520G, I can give you some general help that will help in PR and all gaming

, and I can suggest you to study overclocking your APU, which will help, but you have to be careful, and I can't hold your hand through it, but there are dozens of very good tutorials on the web to help you out. Search for either of these programs: k10stat or turionpowercontrol , both are OC'ing programs for the APUs.

Your notebook is just barely going to be able to play PR. While your laptop should play BF2 pretty laright, PR pushes the limits of the BF2 engine, so to get you running we're going to need to optimize your entire notebook.

The absolute best option you have going forward is overclocking your APU, but I can't be held responsible for overclocking and you'll need to research that on your own. K10stat is the overclocking utility you want to use.

As for increasing your fps, we have some common solutions,
delete the shaders cache in your c:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache folder
then
1. defrag your hard drive. the PR and addons installers tend to get fragmented, which slows down read/writes and slows down fps.

3. Download Bitsum ProcessLasso Free. Make sure you download the correct version, Free 32 bit or Free 64 bit, Process Lasso - Automate and optimize process priorities, CPU affinities, power profiles, and more!

5. Check your Page File, if set to a sliding value, I suggest
deleting pagefile.

resetting pagefile manually to a single minimum/maximum.

Step 1. fixes any hard drive issues.
Step 2. shut downs unneeded background processes freeing up RAM and system resources.
Step 3. Gives the BF2 and PR and PRmumble and punkbuster programs High priority for RAM and system resources.
Step 4. Gives the BF2 and PR.exe programs the ability to use individually over 2GB of RAM when needed, and reduces the amount of RAM being reserved (wasted) by the OS.
Step 5. Create fixed size Pagefile and defragmenting it.
