The errormessage appears while installing PR 1.0 (see image)
System:

If I ignore that, PR will work for a while. But yesterday, I was not able to connect to a server after a few seconds. --> CTD!

that file is 449Mb in size, I can not upload it.
How did you download the .ISO ? i.e. torrent, direct download, desura, etc. If direct download, from which website?
How did you unzip or mount the .iso ? which program used?

Thanks for your reply!
You can't open the image?
I've downloaded the iso-file itself, no torrent use. Then I've mounted and open it with "virtual clone drive". Then, I've started the setup.exe and got the error. I tried to install PR as admin and as "normal" user, out of the windows-mode and out of the "PR-dialog-window". Firewall was deactivated.
I had the same behaviour with the 1.0 beta. I was able to play the beta for a certain time, because I've ignored the error-message

Check the hashes on your .iso to make sure it's not corrupted:
Unpassworded Client Installers:
Code:
prbf2_1.0.29.0_full_unpassworded.iso
Size: 6.03 GB (6,477,357,056 bytes)
CRC32: 06329c08
MD5: 3e8a98dcc17464e2a6bbf2c9c356b95e
SHA-1: d66cece02aa2527482ee5b883aab5497b859665c
SHA-256: aa8b1817f32e1a20871a84e9319c4d132e7c520e41434d1a0ea16a05392355aa
If you need a MD5 hash program, try this free one:
Home of the MD5summer
When I say I can't upload the 449Mb, I mean I don't have an online service to hold a 449Mb file. Also slow upload speed means it'll take me forever (approximately 12 hours)

How do I check the content of an ISO-file? I've already checked the content after extracting and/or mounting the ISO and exported it into a MD5-file.

First off, did you download the passworded .iso, or the unpassworded .iso?
check for the correct hashes here:
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... ashes.html
to answer your question:
you can only check the hashes of the prbf2_1.0.29.0_full.iso or prbf2_1.0.29.0_full_unpassworded.iso file itself, once you unzip it you create a new unique hash for each file.
IF the .iso hashes are correct, AND you still get these errors, you have a problem with your winrar or virtualclonedrive, or a problem with hardware,... it's one of those things where there isn't much I can suggest, besides attempting to install a few times.

You may close this thread because I`ve bought a new PC because of corrupted RAM etc. Now I have an other problem with PR, but I'll have a look to FAQ or other threads first....
Thanx for your effort.
