Well, this happened about 2 days ago on Al Barasah. (Probably the funnest round I have had in a LONG time!)

I THINK it was *NWA* server? I am not 100% sure, but I was an Insurgent on that round.

So I decide to get in a civilian car, and of course I was a some what 'innocent' civilian. I found an APC that was shooting at the cache, so I decided to park the car behind it... Not thinking of what would happen.

I first thought that he would think it's a bomb car and run away. But of course not.

Apperently, he drove backwards into the car, the car exploded, as well as the APC.

(I am gonna try to find it on Battlerecorder and capture it on Footage for you guys.)


But is this a bug or a glitch?


**Note, the APC was behind a building. We insurgents had no defenders on the cache, well it's insurgency. But no RPG's or anything were hitting the APC. He wasn't smoking but I thought it was very odd for this to occur. :\

Yes and yes.

With the BF2 engine, sometimes if a vehicle gets caught between two objects it'll blow up. You even see this sometimes when a tank turret hits a building and the whole tank blows up. It's not common... but if the conditions are right it can happen.

Would you like for me to take a picture of it?

To be honest I find the tank turret annoying. I would accept if it somehow interfered with the turrets movement or whatnot, but the fact that it kicks the whole tank inside buildings destroying it is just ridiculous. Should remove it imo. Especially annoying when you are moving parallel to a wall or something, and happen to turn the turret an inch lower smacking the tank in some small car wreck, boom.

last time I turned the turret when crossing a narrow bridge the tank exploded...

Well, I love the Civilian car killing APC bug!

But I find it dumb when the civilian car is driving smoothly. Spot an APC.
Get's his 4 squad mates to get in civi cars and do a road block. It's funny as hell.

But the Civilian Car killing APC bug is the best bug in the game imo!
It's even funner if you have a fake gary and do it!

matty you better be careful with that, its a glitch and as such crashing into other vehicles is abuse and bannable offense on many servers.
