I was messing around on a local server and chose Al Basrah on Insurgency STD. and I chose the default sapper kit with the mine IED and placed that in main and blew it up. I then tried to take out the victim-operated water canister IED and tried to place it but it wouldn't place. I thought that it wouldn't place in main for tk reasons so I tried placing it in the street right to the West of main and still nothing. The animation or sound wouldn't play and I could switch weapons and go back to it but it still didn't work. I picked up the combat engineer kit from main and tried that victim-operated IED and it didn't work either.

So what gives?

Nevermind. I wasn't trying to place it while I was prone. It works that way.
