So how was it? Can You still remember it?


Mine was cool because I had a lot support from community, especially from NWA (thanks Mac ) They 've showed me how to not be a noob. I remember my first time on motorbike- instant crash . I just didn't want to be pain in *** to others I was realy excited about teamplay and stuff, then I realized that PR waaaay better than BF3.

Was told about this "teamwork" mod on a airmaps server.

thought he was trolling, told him to piss off.

3 months later, get kinda itchy. Download PR.

Install it.

Join 10th mountain, jabal. Make squad, and invite 5 guys as i always do in bf2 vanilla.

Yell at them where to spawn and where to go. They all talk to me, and say yes and whatnot. I get baffled.

"U guys have mics?" They all reply yes.

I then proceed to land at dam with my squad. We are US marines. Tell them Im new, they teach me how the mod works. I give some more orders. never stopped Squadleading since. <3

Damn its been a long time, 10th. NATO and PRT. iGi. Adriaan and rudd. Web and zrix. Skull. NATO public events. Mumble events. Reality Teamwork. PRTA and TART.

I shit you not, i played PR 14 hours straight weeks on end the first year. I was hooked. And I still am. PR 4 life.

it was back in 2007... cant remember how it was, but I remember I hated PR so much because it was so hard to play...

Either .9 or whichever was just before it. So probably 0.9.

A round on Iron Ridge. The only time I ever remember fighting at that power plant thing. I think I threw a grenade.

There was also my first game on Qinling. I walked from China main due east to other side of the map (past the quarry area). I finally met up with my squad and then like two minutes later a Warrior rolled in a killed us all.

My first map was Beirut, was playing for the IDF fighting against the Russians near Docks flag. Spawned in on the FOB and First weapon I used was a TAR-21;Then a few minutes later ,I got my first kill ever...and my first team kill in PR at the same time.

I was told to jump down the well on Karbala. I listened.

Mine was Greasy Mullet (2006 or 2007). I remember spawning in and I saw two enemies nearby so I killed them, only to find out they were on my team. Oops. Good thing I didn't get banned right from the start.

lol, mine was PR(MM) v0.1 around 2005, spawned in on Dragon Valley 16, and ye was pretty much like vBF2 with lots of tards running around playing like it was still vBF2 and the server had friendly fire off etc so people where just blowing team mates up into the sky with C4 and then since they no longer had parachutes they would just go splat on the ground without the guy getting a TK.

But ye I started seriously playing PR in v0.2, Zatar Wetlands 16 and this was when people where starting to play the game far more seriously and it was awesome
Not as awesome as PR is now but back then, compared to vBF2, waay better

My first time in was really in one of the very first versions, under a different name. I took a break, and decided to come back.

1.5 to 2 years ago (To be honest I really can't remember), I kept reading about this 'reality mod'. Download. I look at the server list, and see a server that's got the name tactical in it. Ehh, why not? First thing I do? Fuck shit up with mortars, because, as one person put it, why not? At that same time, I started to use mumble .5

I honestly had no dam clue what was going on. All I remember was my squad leader flipping out at his son for throwing a coffee cup into their TV screen! XD

Then some dude went derp on everyone on my team of course. Team Kills everyone in less then 10 minutes

Boy, I wish that I could have had a much 'sexier' experience with PR.

Karbabla, May, 2010.

I had a guy in the backseat and we were driving around, I was driving. The vehicle was a transport humvee. I drove it straight into the insurgency main, not being aware of the dome of death.

lol wonder what PR would be like today if our lead mapper rage quit from being banned
i believe my first round was qinling but i was still an immature little brat then, i tried PR a year or two later, havent stopped playing since, also havent gotten that qinling loading music out of my head either, so nostalgic!

Played the shit out of 1942 and BF2, then I installed PR .1 or .2 and got killed repeatedly like a noob, uninstalled and came back for .9

I think the loading music from Quinling is on Dorve? (Unless I am hearing things)

The mod has always been called "Project Reality", although it was referred to as "Project Reality - Mini-Mod" (PRMM) from v0.1 to v0.3 as back then there where only really code changes to vBF2 with very little in the way of new content added, until the British where added in v0.4 and then the "mini-mod" was removed from the title. But it still was "Project Reality" with the same name, logo etc

My first experience was dien dong trying desperately to talk to my squadmates using mumble as i didn't know i had to get PR mumble.

I think it was in 2009, i read about that Mod in a german gaming magazin and 0.85 was on their DVD. So i installed it because i was so disappointed from the BF2 "teamplay". I joined a Server (i think it was CIA or something) with Ramiel running. I joined an Squad that had something with Infantry in it and was told to get a Specialist and spawn on the Rallyepoint. We run around a bit and i tried to follow my Squad but then the SQL told me to use the hook so we can climb up a roof. I messed it up and threw the hook against the wall. then i thought "OMG i did it wrong" and leaved the server and joined another server^^ I hadnt use my mic back then and really had problems to understand what SQL was trying to tell me ( I think it was something like "you have to press G to pick up the hook)
