Required Dependency Missing

Every time I've tried to start up Project Reality it's given me a message that says:

Code: Select all

Required Dependency Missing

Unable to detect required dependency:
Visual C++ Redistributable 2012 Update 1 x64

This can be installed from the Microsoft Download Center.
I have downloaded what it told and and repaired it but it still gives me the same error every time I attempt to open it up, any ideas?

First, go to COntrol Panel->Programs Add or Remove, Then REPAIR both the x64 and x86 versions of Visual C++ Redistributable. Reboot, . that should fix it if already installed.

If not installed download this:
install both 2012 C++ version (x64 and x86) and then do a repair installation as above, reboot, and it's fixed.

Downloaded both 2012 versions, still the same error.

EDIT:

Never mind it worked, just had to repair the x64 version and restart my computer.

Thanks :)

Litoralis, that link in the quote leads to a Bing search of Win8 App Store.

Download Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 3 from Official Microsoft Download Center
