So, after searching for a few days for my BF2 install disks I finally loaded into project reality! Now, I know there is a learning curve but I am not a stranger to tactical combat. Most of the guys I play with are into arma, bf3, and planetside, but they insisted I pick up this mod, saying that it was an extremely well done tac shooter. That totally sold me right there!

So I was wondering if there was a large Teamspeak or mumble server that most of you fellas frequent. I'm still a little dark on the squad set up, but I would much rather have my buddies and I follow the lead of some well seasoned veterans, we are not afraid to take orders. We enjoy a good command structure and it looks like this game can deliver on that aspect. Anyone have any suggestions for a ragtag group of drunk mercenaries?

You can search for server Ts by asking admins, or checking server info. However PR have build in Mumble, that is running in a background, that will auto-connect you to the server channel on which you are playing atm. Default settings are H key to speak to a your Squad, and NUM 0 to speak on local (to ppl aroud you, very cool feature ), and if you are a squad leader, you can use NUM 1- 9 to talk to leader of sq with same number.

Yeah first thing that people do is usually change the mumble key to something more easily reached. I use left alt for local and left windows for squad, but use whatever is comfortable for you.

And tell people youre new and they'll be much more understanding and inviting.

H = Local (Can't be heard by the enemy, use to be the case in 0.85 but since then, only team can hear it)
0 = Your Squad/The Squad you are in
* = All Squads (Preferable as Squad Leader to communicate something of high priority)
\ = Commander
