Massive lagg/fps issues

This lagg has nothing to do with my ping because it is always 40 in the correct server. Ever since the new updates, PR has been playing horribly. I remember playing around 3-4 years ago and the game was perfect. Now I have significant FPS drops, the game doesn't even register my keyboard half the time, and the game gets stuck in certain animations. Like, my walking animation turns into my sprinting animation, and everything is laggy looking. But yet again, my ping is extremely low. Anyone else have this issue before? If so, how can I fix it. Someone ingame suggested it might be hardware related, but every other game I play works fine, besides PR.

Thanks for your time.

By the way, because of this, the game is UNPLAYABLE. This occurs even at the lowest settings. I have 8 gigs of ram, ATI 5770.

This tread might be helpful

Also try running disk clean-up I've found that bumps the fps 5-10 fps. Also razor game booster helps a bit bumping another 5-10 fps.

Cnet download link: http://download.cnet.com/Razer-Game-Booster/3000-18512_4-10913645.html?tag=mncol;1

Also I've just noticed that people with ATI seem to have lag problems more frequently. I have ATI 5450

Post your system specs, I'll see what I can do.
I started playing PR with a HD 5770, I should be able to give you some pointers.

Quick way to post your specs, open PRLauncher, click Support ->click Copy to Clipboard->Paste the info here.

Yup, here it is sir.

If you see me play you would not believe how awful it is. Tempted to make a video and show you. None of the animations on my side are in their right order, like, if I reload, my guy just spazzes out. Ahahaha.

It has been this way for about a year now, never tried to fix it because I quit.

Driver Version: 9.12.0.0
You probably have incorrectly installed graphics drivers.
'[R-COM wrote:LITOralis.nMd']

Download the HD5770 drivers directly from either AMD.com or the GPU manufacturer's website.

download this.
Driver Fusion - The Complete Driver Solution

install it, run it, completely uninstall the Radeon drivers. [BE CAREFUL NOT TO UNINSTALL ANYTHING ELSE, very powerful program that can be dangerous in the wrong hands]

REBOOT.

Do NOT allow the new hardware wizard to install drivers.

Install the prior downloaded drivers, make sure to do a custom install so no junkware is added in the installation.

REBOOT.

You should then be good to go, though on some games you might need to delete the shaders caches once, especially with BF2 and PR.

Here are your options:
'[R-COM wrote:LITOralis.nMd']Try removing all the windows UI graphics options, basically make your winXP look like WinNT, you can use this:

For Windows XP:Tweak UI - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com

For Vista, 7, 8: Ultimate Windows Tweaker, a TweakUI for Windows 7 & Vista

and turn off all the windows UI stuff, like windows shadows, mouse shadows, maximize windows animation, etc.

Also try Razer GameBooster Razer Game Booster Free Download, Speed Up PC for Top Gaming Performance to shutdown unneeded background processes.

3. Download Bitsum ProcessLasso Free. Make sure you download the correct version, Free 32 bit or Free 64 bit, Process Lasso - Automate and optimize process priorities, CPU affinities, power profiles, and more!
-- Start PR, JOIN AN ONLINE SERVER, alt tab to desktop, open ProcessLAsso window, right click on PRBF2.exe, PRLauncher.exe, and PRMumble.exe and pnkbstra.exe and pnkbstrB.exe and give them default priority status of High, set the PRBF2.exe to gaming mode, and give them high or higher access to RAM.
Unpark your CPU Cores in ProcessLasso->Options->Configure CPU Core Parking->UNpark your cores.
After this, you have to assign PRBF2.exe to a core other than Core0.

I have a permanent solution possible, let me write it up and I'll post again soon.

Download Bitsum ProcessLasso Free. Make sure you download the correct version, Free 32 bit or Free 64 bit, Process Lasso - Automate and optimize process priorities, CPU affinities, power profiles, and more!
-- Start PR and join an online server, alt tab to desktop, open ProcessLasso window, right click on PRLauncher.exe, PRBF2.exe and and give them default priority status of High, set the PRBF2.exe to gaming mode, and give both of them high or higher access to RAM. Right click on PRLauncher.exe and select CPU Core, give it access to Core0, Apply, close the submenu. Right click on PRBF2.exe and select CPU Core, give it access to Core1, Apply, close the submenu.

Adjust the Core number by how many physical cores your CPU has,
if you have a dual core,
Put PRLauncher on the first core, Core0
Put PRBF2.exe on the second core, Core1

if you have a triple core,
Put PRLauncher on the second core, Core1
Put PRBF2.exe on the Third core, Core2

if you have a Quad core, you should probably not need this.
Put PRLauncher on the second core, Core1
Put PRBF2.exe on the Third core, Core2
-------------

These steps will either make your PC faster playing PR and have you jumping for joy, or it will make your other games faster.

Did the drivers, now I can not launch PR because it says I need c++ update 1.

I obviously have it, and I have repaired it, and still I can't launch. This is no good.

Sorry about that, this is a very new bug, only been happenning for last few weeks due to update in PRLauncher, I forgot about it.

Get the newest version, update 3.
Download BOTH the x86 and x64 versions.
Install them.
Repair them.
Reboot.

Download Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 3 from Official Microsoft Download Center
