So I noticed that there's two different IFV versions of the WZ551 on Black Gold. One with ATGM capabilities and one without.

The thing is, the WZ551 that carries a visible ATGM launcher is the one that can not fire it, and the one with the flat turret and no visible launcher can.

So I guess the models have been mixed up here?

The one on the left is the vanilla turret - We wanted to remove the ATGM capability from the vehicle but did not edit the model so this is where the confusion comes from.

Nevermind then. I was looking for a tube launcher on the WZ551b and just noticed the ATGM is on top of the turret, launched from a rail. Never seen that before.


Guess it's time to close this thread then.

The Malyutka (or it's Chinese copy) do not actually have a tube launcher. So what you might see as 'no' launcher is actually it's real life situation. It has a small guide rail, but it does indeed look a bit odd if you don't know Malyutka.
