Jungle Patrol - PRTA Vietnam Campaign, Prologue

An emergency patrol around Hill 488 area is organized due to suspected increase of VC activity on the north, who are using the jungle and locals to conceal ammo caches and the river to shift supplies. Instead, US forces face an organized NVA platoon with armor support for the first time in the Vietnam war. Intelligence gathering by the SOG and agent teams prior to this day is confirmed. US soldiers are now facing a conventional army for the remainder of the war in this particular area.
Notes:
This is a Mission (One-Life Event). Once your death count reaches 1, you will be removed for the duration of the session. (Accidents, Internet Timeouts etc. are no excuse. When you're gone, you're gone.)
On top of that, this is a short campaign, set in the Vietnam War era of PR; It is a story driven campaign in which the outcome from the previous battle affect the next one, be it a different map, layer or a scenario.
Rules:
- Round start timer will be up to 5 minutes to allow preparations.
- No signups required
- Plays as a normal AAS
Win conditions - US:
- NVA surrenders
- NVA unit is combat inefficient
- Capture and defend the last patrol point (first NVA flag) for 20 minutes.
Win conditions - NVA:
- US forces surrender
- US unit is combat inefficient
- Drive the US back to their mainbase, capture and hold their first patrol CP (first US flag) for 20 minutes.
