Connection to server and Crash to Desktop Problems

So I've been using the same computer to play PR for years now with varying issues depending on the version. When PR v1 came out, all of those problems were cleared up and I could play totally normally. Then I moved and got a new internet connection, and now the game has gone to shit despite nothing else changing.
My connection to the server is abruptly lost without any lag spikes preceding it (my ping is a typical 50-100). This usually happens after 30-40 minutes of playing, though has happened after about 10 minutes just today. When I lose the connection, it freezes like normal and after a few seconds spits me back to the server list screen at which point I can try to join the game again.
And now PR has been crashing to desktop with increasing regularity. There's no warning signs in-game, it just shots off and I'm at my start up screen.
Even when I was overseas and had 400+ ping, I never had connection losses like this. I have also been playing PR v1 since it came out and never had a crash-to-desktop problem until I moved. So I have no idea what is going on or why, but it seems to be an internet connection kind of problem.
Any suggestions?
