As soon as the other tank showed up you should have got the hell out of there. It's best not to engage other tanks that are aware of your presence without a quick escape route. Of course, sometimes you get caught in the open moving to another location. Not much you can do about that besides fire, evade, and fire until somebody goes down. The worst thing you could do is fire and not even move unless they're fully exposed and you're in a hull-down position.

As soon as the 2nd tank comes in, shoot him in the track to make him tracked or explode immediately, then fall back because the other tank is standing there already, ready to shoot as soon as he reloaded.

And btw the "beep" warning sound means you should jump out immediately since the tank will blow up any second...

Use more teamwork and not be that Tank that is alone. Basically, do what the two enemy tanks were doing, which we can see proved successful.

Try to position yourself near cover so when you see the second tank coming in, you can reverse, take a jit in the front and get to cover. In cover you can make a plan of calling for help, attempting to run using terrain to cover you, or hide with your engine off. Of course you can't always find that perfect spot, but having a quick escape route that you can take a hit and gtfo is always usefull.
