to add a little to this, there are invisible water features adjacent to the waterfall, along the riverbed. where it looks like you should stand, you swim instead.

You can do the same on Asad Khal so I presume it's how the physic's engine handles waterfalls.

I think these problems have been fixed but are waiting for the v1.0.37 patch to be released.
