I am afraid, even if u could launch PR, you won't enjoy it with 10fps and 5 mins loading time, as your spec is pretty outdated.

A new PC is really recommended.

Are you running Raptr with its overlay? There's a good chance that's causing issues, I know that Steam and Overwolf can cause problems so you might want to close or disable Raptr.
The 3 GB switch you did only has an effect if you have 3+ GB of RAM. You only have 1 GB.

And as k4on said, even if you do get it running you'll have some pretty low performance with that PC.

1. shutdown raptr. shutdown ALL overlays.
2. Your integrated GPU is way below the minimum specs to even run vanlla BF2.
3. Your integrated GPU drivers are extremely outdated, htey are from before the release of BF2!!
Driver Description Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller
Driver Manufacturer Intel Corporation
Driver Type Display Adapters
Driver Version 6.14.10.4396
Driver Date 9-20-2005

download the new ones:
Intel? Graphics Media Accelerator Driver (exe)
Installs drivers for the integrated graphics controller of Intel? Chipsets. This is not to be used if the system has a third party graphics card.

OS: Windows 2000 *, Windows XP Home Edition*, Windo....More Windows 2000 *, Windows XP Home Edition*, Windows XP Media Center Edition*, Windows XP Professional*>

4. I don't think there is any chance your PC can run PR.

That was the top of the line Intel chipset and top of the line Pentium CPU in 2003, it was hot stuff.

Nemesis.x13, sorry to disappoint you, but that PC is not going to run PR.

I will give you props for building a really streamlined XP build, from seeing your desktop icons. You really optimized your hardware, good on you.

I do suggest uninstalling iLivid, it is a really bad spyware program. Make sure you also uninstall the browser video plugin that is part of the iLivid software, that is the specifically worst part of this spyware. There is another virus that keeps changing names that is usually installed with iLivid, it's mostly called Torch, but it's changes regularly. Get rid of that too.

Also, fully uninstall Vuze, and install a clean bittorrent client, Vuze is now a parasitic program. It has installed adware toolbars on ALL of your browsers. You need to remove all of those browser plugins, they are tracking your every click and website visited. I personally use qBittorent , qBittorrent official website

Driver Date 9-20-2005
How can I find that out ?! I have pressed "update drivers" and then "search on internet for latest drivers" for the past 6 years on my bad computer but it always says "drivers are up to date" I got this feeling it's not true, so it would be great to know how I can see the date of the latest driver installation.

There is a software company called DriverMax,
they have a trial software that allows you to scan your system and find all your drivers, and see if they are up to date.
You have to pay money to automate the driver updates inside DriverMax, but you can just use google to find the newest drivers.

In this case, I just googled the driver numbers and GPU.
Display Information
-------------------
Display Device(s): Plug and Play Monitor on Intel(R) 82865G Graphics Controller
Display Mode(s): 1280 x 1024 (32 bit) @ 70 Hz
Driver Version: 6.14.10.3865
EDIT: Here is a link to DriverMax, and a list of alternare free programs that do the same:
http://alternativeto.net/software/drive ... cense=free
I haven't used the alternates for this use.
DriverBackup! is another great program for backing up your drivers before reinstalling your same OS on the same hardware.
