Hey guys, I want to buy a laptop to my mom for christmas but I have very little knowledge in computers so I thought I ask here

I'm looking for a laptop mainly for office stuff, non-gaming. So I guess any cheap laptop would do but there is a ton of cheap laptops, so maybe someone got some advice.

It needs a pretty big HD to store photos and videos, that's about the only important thing.
Price should be max around 3000 SEK / 430 $.

I live in sweden so if you got any good advice on stores or websites to visit that sells in my area, that would be great
I know some big stores that sells computers and other electronic devices but I heard there are better options online.

go with a Dell Latitude, for example an e4300 (13.3") or e6400 (15.3"). Outstanding office laptop, best bang for the buck. I got mine used for 179? (1 609,6777 SEK, don't know if that is cheap or expensive in sweden, but here it's very very cheap ), with a 250GB HDD, but an upgrade to a 500GB HDD is not very expensive.

Also does someone know if there is some option on windows 8 to get the classical look like all other windows OS? Not sure she wants to learn a new OS, you know old people

Regarding the OS: No, unfortunately, only thing you can do is to download mods for win8, for exampleto to get back the old, classic startmenu from previous windows versions.

Regarding the Laptop: It'll do its job, but on notebookcheck, almost the same notebook got a 60 out of 100 only.
