Crash upon loading of PR

Hello gents,

This morning I tried to login to my PR account, It did everything is was suppose to do in the launcher, but once I was logged in and was waiting for the actual PR screen to load after the Into Plays (With the COOP and Deployment Options) PR crashed on me.

I tried again and again to get into the actual PR screen but it didn't work, it always crashed. There is nothing wrong with the Launch because it is logging in just fine from what I can see.

When I logged in with an Offline account it worked perfectly, But the online accounts only login but will not load the actual PR screen.

Thing I have tried are:...............
I have made a new account and tried that (only offline accounts work)
I have cleared all my caches and updated punk-buster
I have run as administrator
I have checked for updates
I have restarted my internet

PR was working perfectly with no issues yesterday and I have been playing it without issues ever since PR 1.0 came out.

Hope someone can help me :cry:
Thank you.

Maybe it was the windows updates that made some changes? Or did you did sth. else on your system since yesterday?

Or you had another screen/monitor resolution or refresh rate (Hz)

Hiya, welcome to PR,

Please post your system specs from PRLauncher:
1. Start PRlauncher
2. Click Support
3. Click "Copy to Clipboard"
4. Paste everything in this thread.

Does vanilla BF2 online multiplayer work?

Next, try running PR in windowed mode:
In PR, If you crash at the splash screen, or the screen goes black and then crashes to desktop, try to start PR in windowed mode by following the directions below:
Start PRLauncher->
Options->
Video Tab->
UNTICK the Fullscreen tickbox->
Chose a display resolution and refresh rate that is smaller than your desktop resolution from the drop down menu, or create a custom resolution, make sure your refresh rate is correct for your monitor->
Click Apply

If you start in windowed mode and it CTDs, a Message will pop up telling you the problem. Take a screenshot or write this down and post it to this thread.
With your system specs info and any error message from the CTD popup message, we'll have the info to fix your problem.

If you have any overlay programs running, ... steam overlay, ts3 overlay, RAPTR, msi afterburner, etc.
completely shut them all down.

Does vanilla BF2 online multiplayer work?

You really need to update your drivers.
GPU Driver Version: 8.16.11.8817 (188.17) is from early 2010.

.NET Framework: 4.0 should be updated to 4.5.1

------------

Back to your immediate problem, I do not have any idea why this is happening.

Can you join a PR online multiplayer server using PRSpy web browser?

Turn off steam like so:
1 Launch Steam and click on the "Settings" button. Click on the "In-Game Settings" tab.

2 Uncheck the box next to "Enable Steam Community In-Game" and click OK.

3 Disable the Steam Overlay on specific games only by right-clicking on the game title, click on "Properties" and uncheck "Enable Steam Community In-Game" in the "General" tab.

I have made a new account and tried that (only offline accounts work)
Did you make the new account through vanilla BF2? Then import it to PR?

Running PR in windowed mode, at the moment PR crashes, there is no popup window with an error code?

Have you tried this:
PRlauncher->Options->bottom left corner "RESET ALL PROFILES" button->Apply
then,
untick the Fullscreen tickbox->Set resolution to 800x600->Click Apply
Start PR to test.

I really don't know why it's crashing so suddenly.

This has not worked, I might just do an all round wipe of PR and reinstall everything, I'll let you know what happens.
