Newbie looking to dig in.

Hey folks,
I've been playing for a short while but I find most often teams are lacking teamwork, and when I join a squad 9/10 no one really talks much, or coordinates with one another. I understand the argument for taking charge, but it really doesn't apply when you yet don't know what you're doing. Anyway, I'm hoping perhaps there are some people/groups/clans or whatever out there that wouldn't mind training up a newb? The game is absolutely awesome in the times when people do communicate and work together and I want a lot more of that. My in-game name is the same plus 87 at the end. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Sure. Look for LAAF guys at HOG server
Hint: Just tell your SL that you're newbie.

It's a mixed bag until you find a group you enjoy playing with. If you see a bunch of clan guys, or see the same group of players together all the time see if they have teamspeak, try to find a place in the community with people you have fun with and the rest should just fall into place.

Welcome abroad!
(the devs should do welcome messages to new comers!

)
hey, if you see me in a server, just join my squad!
I will teach you a thing or two!
*Note, you do not have to join a clan to be a part of PR

You don't have to, but you really should eventually once you get the hang of the game mechanics. My PR experience increased three fold once I joined a clan. Teamwork is enforced, rules of conduct are established, and you generally have a more rewarding experience. If you know the people you play with, you are able to adjust your tactics to utilize individual skillsets.
That said, take your time and learn to coordinate with others around you. Some of my best clanmates are not skilled shooters or asset operators - they're simply good at working together. I hope this helps, welcome to the greatest game ever

I find it much less fun when trying to play exclusively with your buddies.

You should probably find some new "buddies" then.

No, it's just a pain to have to switch to the team your friend is on.

The vast majority of times you can ask the admin to swap teams to be with your friends, they are usually very accommodating in this regard clan tags or not. If you are having problems swapping to one team you can usually get on the other rather easily (this normally happens when most people want to play BLUFOR).
