PR Tank Controller Profile

Hello there,

I'll be using this thread to list and update my Tank controller profile for Project Reality, designed to be used with an XBox style controller and Pinnacle Game Profiler.

Focusing on ease of use when playing, but also with an edge of realism with regards to button location / functionality.
These 3 profile types will all be able to be toggled ingame without the need to switch between profiles using the desktop.

As this is at an early stage, and to test the water, I've first created a gunnery profile.
I've used hands on time with the FV4034 and resource material to dictate where buttons are and what buttons do.

v0.1:

- Fire switch is linked to a safety hat that needs to be activated before firing
- Only able to fire 1 weapon at a time. Main or COAX needs to be selected

Feedback is greatly appreciated!
**You will require Pinnacle Game Profiler to use this**

Only downside is that in PR timing is everything, you can't really waste time aiming with a controller when the mouse is clearly better...

The British Army have a lot of military areas that are open to the public, and the public can even put their hands on some equipment, some Devs even got their hands on a Scimitar:

What SShadowFox says. I was the one who took the above photo as it happens :)
We went in a few different vehicles, 4034, 107, 430 and the CRARRV.

We we're able to get hands on with all of the above, "try" the various stations within the vehicles etc.

You are only now allowed to take pictures etc from inside them, although if you look on youtube etc you can find some posted by the tank crews themselves even... Hell I've even seen the BBC news put up videos of stuff which is technically classified like the Operations room on HMS Daring etc showing people how the system even works etc...

But ye while some of us not only have been able to get a quick hands on in some of these, we have also able to go on the Simulators too :)

CR2 Gunner Simulator, can see the gunner controller too:

CR2 Driver Simulator, big box on the right is what you go into and its all setup just like the driver position in the CR2, the screens you can see are just what the instructor sees :)
