Got a red x next to my speaker icon in the lower right of my screen when playing on a server. mumble not working. uninstalled mumble pr every thing reloaded and I still got the problem ops:

How did you fix it?

Ok I clicked on the PR icon on my desktop and the first screen reads "PLAY, manual, options, support, ...."

I clicked on options then this next screen is the "BF2 Options Screen" and has 5 tabs which are "Video", Graphics, Audio, Global, and PR Mumble.

I clicked on PR Mumble. when one clicks on this PR Mumble tab then you will see the shortcuts for mumble AND a blue "LAUNCH" button.

I clicked on this launch button.

Clicking on the Launch button shows a window that has at the top Server, Self, Configure, Help

ON THIS SCREEN the mic and the headphone icons had a RED X THROUGH them. I do not know why they had this red x but when I clicked on each icon the red x went away and then as I closed these screens and clicked on the APPLY button when I went back to pr it worked.

I was no longer muted.

Thanks Major, somehow I got muted or muted myself I was fooling with the shortcuts earlier but the mute shortcut was blank but then when in game I saw the red x next to the speaker icon bottom right of screen and so mumble did not work but then up clicking LAUNCH etc. as stated above got it working
