so when i launch the game and join a server the mumble starts on the back but it doesnt connect to the server and when im spawned in there is the logo that says that i am not connected and thats what mumble says :

how do i fix that ? i have looked everywhere people with the same probleme but nothing works

How many times have you tried? Have you tried to connect to other (game) servers, it looks as if you were connecting to the HOG server in your example?
I presume you are running PR 1.0.36.0? and that the bundled and integrated mumble just starts? have you tried alt tabing out of the game to kill mumble in your task bar/task manager and let it restart itself? There are occasions when it wont work because of an issue somewhere. From what I know the mumble is linked to the server on which you are playing so an issue could occur which breaks it for a bit on that server only.

i just tryed again on the CIA server still doesnt work i open my task manager stop it it starts again but still cant connect

In general, your PRmumble client is not connecting to the PR mumble server.

We have to troubleshoot each piece of the connection route, to find the problem.

What firewall software do you use?
What antivirus do you use? AVG , NOD32 and Norton 360 are both known to cause this issue. (HIPS protection is the technical term)
What router do you use? Several newer routers have this protection firmware that blocks some VOIP programs. Most new Belkin routers have been the cause of your problem. Other company's routers do also. (HIPS protection again)
Does your router have a built in firewall?
Does your router have built in software to protect kids from adult content?
Does your router have QoS enabled?
How do you connect your PC to your router? Wired or wireless?
What ISP internet provider do you have?

Please post back with answers to this and we'll get you pointed in the best options for troubleshooting this.

We've gone through this many times, we probably know the solution, we just need to pinpoint the cause.

my firewall is the one that come with windows,
my anti-virus is AVG,
my router idk its a router that the company gave me (company is bell canada)
it does not have a firewall,
no kids protection,
i do not know what QoS is,
its wired,
my internet provider is Bell canada,

i know that my internet company does not allow port foward

my anti-virus is AVG,

AVG is almost certainly the culprit.

i made a mistake i dont have avg i have avast and i can download the test file perfectly when it is activated

even after desabling Avast still get the same error

Could you please check your router. Manufacturer and model number. Should be a sticker on it with this info.

To make sure the Windows Firewall is not blocking PRMumble,

go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Firewall\Allowed Programs

Make sure PRMumble has both tickboxes checked






To test, you can download the original Mumble client, then also make sure it's allowed through Windows Firewall and Avast.

Download Mumble from SourceForge.net and try to connect to any of the public Mumble servers, just to see if your PC/Router is blocking all of your Mumble traffic or not.

You can try to add an exception for PRMumble through Avast:

By following the directions below you can add an exception to the Avast Firewall.

From the main Avast window left click on the Firewall section of the left navigation menu.

Next, left click on "Application Rules" in the left navigation menu under Firewall.

Select "New Group" and add PRMumble

Now left click "New Application Rule" and add PRMumble.exe

Left click on the on the yellow bars and drag your mouse until all 5 bars are lit.

You have successfully added the exception!

all the Pr stuff are enable on the firewall , and i installed the regular mumble did a computer restart and still doesnt work , but the regular mumble when i connect to a public server it works , i found what my modem is it is a : Sagemcom 2864

alright i finally found the problem it was in the mumble settings , in network it was at http proxy i changed it to direct connect and now it works
