When I want to update it shows me this error.
the game runs fine on the previous version

BF2audio.dll is a vanilla BF2 1.5 file.

Here is a copy of mine, place it where the error message says it should be located:

thanks I've just tried that askind a friend that file, but then it asked for another an another, so he passed me all the *.dll's files and it allowed me to install the 1.1.0.0 update, but when 1.1.1.0 was finishing the same problem appeared as if they were overwritten or modified, so now I'm downloading the full version and uninstalling everything. I also tried installing 1.5 patch as it says there but no luck at all.

I'll try downloading BF2 and both patches again, I've never had this problem before and I've just reinstalled everything twice, (I've downloaded 1.1.0.0) and still ask for the same files

Give me a list of the files you are having a problem with, let's try to narrow down what we're dealing with.

The PR Devs set up a website to host the BF2 1.5 DLL files, as they seem to get corrupted pretty often, and people are always asking for copies.

Thanks, but it seems that a virus (Ramnit.A) from the university infected my pen drive and it spread on my pc, so that might have been the problem. I've just formatted my pc and I'm dl'ing everything again.

I got a virus because I downloaded Dropbox, Norton 360 FINNALLY got it off my computer.

Dropbox is not a virus... did you download it from
