Got a GTX 570 and since version 1.1 no effect anymore when being revived, not even blurry vision. Driver version 331.82.

This used to be an issue with the Nvidia cards in the past too. Is 331.82 a new driver version (recent release)?

There's also the bug (maybe with AMD cards) where instead of black-white, it just goes completely black

Latest driver is 332.21. (Released 01/07/2014)
Have the same issue since 1.0 with GTX760.

Same here. Nvidea 770. No clue what driver, on my laptop now. I always thought it had to do with me playing in windowed mode.

Same issue with GTX680 since 1.0. If it is not possible to be fixed, I think black&white screen should be removed completely. Clear advantage that we are not supposed to have, just because Nvidia cards.

I haven't seen that effect in a long time, cant even remember when stopped seeing it... but it was way before 1.0 for sure!

never really got this effect. always used nvidia and currently on gtx 760 with latest drivers.
i remember that turning off anti aliasing ingame and enabling it with nvidia inspector fixing this, but didnt try that with current setup.

here gtx 660ti oc'ed aswell, newest nvidia drivers (not beta), newest direct x version.
no issues at all.

Nope, I am using nvidia AA with turned off ingame AA for ages now and I have this bug since I switched from my old Radeon to Nvidia.

just installed the newest driver, will check if it works... I was using beta driver before

Last time I saw this effect was with my old radeon HD3850. It stopped working when I changed Nvidia GTX560Ti and Gtx680. I'll try the nvidia AA thing when I get home.

It's the same with my gtx 780. I'm not complaining though

I used to have a hand-me-down ($125 Q9550 rig from a real generous friend who upgraded everything lol) pair of 285s like a year ago before the HX1000 smoked up and too most of the rig with it... Anyways, I was running the latest drivers at the time and I never had the black and white effect when being revived, just coughing. Now that I have a 7970 and 8320, the black and white effect is working.

Heh, I just noticed I don't see this effect either.
GTX 670 running drivers 331.93

I mean, I haven't gotten shot in months I'm so ninja l33t, but I let a bot shoot me on local, and lo and behold, no black and white effect.

Time to fix it (at least by removing the effect for everyone), huh DEVs?

Currently on driver 332.21.

This is a shader issue. So I doubt we can fix it easily.
