Does anyone know who the producer/director of this is? I've seriously been subscribed to this channel for 7 years just to see this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=

This has been dead for nearly 5+ years or so, there was from what I remember just more hassle then they wanted to deal with.

I think it was one of those things where they only produce the trailer, no movie, plenty of those of pr are scattered throughout YouTube. Besides even if they did want to do the movie, it for one thing wouldn't get too much attention and 2nd wouldn't be good due to, well it being a game, you can get Steven Spielberg to try to create movie out of bf2 (or most any game for that matter) and it wouldn't be good (using only footage from the actual game I mean) and 3rd not many people would volunteer I imagine, due to many people having lives or, commuting a good deal of free time to making pr better/ developing pr Normandy and Falklands, and for the people that don't have lives I doubt they would make good voice actors. So more than likely they never planed on making a actual movie.

They specifically had a goal of making a movie. Duh, it's not gonna be a blackbuster hit...who would've imagined!?
Volunteering is done through being in a community and assembling friends. It's tough to do. Who woulda imagined!?
The point of this post was to showcase how awesome this video was gonna be, and to find out who made it in the first place, and hopefully inspire them, if they still play, to finish the project.

Hey, I'm in that flying a LB
IIRC the guy behind that was actually in some way a RL media person in/for some of the armed forces in the US. But a combination of some forum drama that I can't recall and lack of time killed the project.
A shame really, the plans for it were pretty neat.
As a side note, the same guy also made the .5 trailer;

no I havent but I said pr:bf2 not whatever that game was unless THAT was bf2.
Edit: no it wasn't bf2 it was halo for the x-box, but I will say it was bit funny, but I was thinking, after seeing the trailer for the pr movie a more of a serious movie.

You did say any other game for that matter. So is valid. With the right people and doing things right not hard to make one. PR has the tools, the bot itself lends quite nicely to that. I know I was part of a serious series machinima project in PR but after waiting on people to turn in their lines *which ironically seems to be the same issue in several fandub projects I am in as well* the leader dropped the whole thing and it never came to be.

oh man zirix that trailer, 3:09 and on is exactly what inspired me to try and map for this mod. its crazy how a trailer could give so much exposure to a community.
