Hi,
please confirm you have played normal BF2 before trying to install.
Also, did you follow the instructions in the guide

Hooray! I solved my problem is that I own stupidity and carelessness pointed the way to Bad Company 2, but not to normal Battlefild 2, sorry for wasting your time
