I just downloaded PR:BF2 yesterday, 'cause I saw a video of "Bluedrake42".

So I decided to test it, but unfortunately I can't join ANY server.. My server list in-game just contains 2 servers and they're empty, when I try to join them it says "Connection to server lost, check your network connection and try again". And even when I try to join a Server from PRSPY, it says that..

I hope somebody can help me with my issue, I would be so glad if I can play PR finally!

You properly installed BF2 , updated to 1.5, and installed PR and updated to 1.1?
Please review the installation guide:

If you did, please give us system specs:
1. open PRLauncher
2. CLick Support
3. CLick the COpy to CLipboard button
4. Paste the whole thing in this thread.

With that info, we'll help you out.

DO you own a legit BF2 CDKey?

PR requires a legit CDKey.

IF you have a legit CDKey, you can start PRLauncher, go to Support->Keys Tab, then reenter your CDKey in dashless format. CLick "Change Key" to Apply the CDKey again.

Then shutdown PRLauncher, restart PRLauncher, and run system specs again, and see if it returns a CD Key Valid: True

1. open PRLauncher
2. CLick Support
3. scroll down to CD Key Valid and check.

Nope, it still says CDKey Valid: Unknown.. Btw, i don't know if it matters, but when I go to the "Key Tab" in "Support", the CDKey Valid is "loading" (a little loading icon spins round and round) and after a while it says: Error validating key...

I really don't know what to do now..

Yeah, I do have a legit CDKey of BF2, i buyed the "EA Classics"-Version of the game some years ago.

OK,
it is possible to make this work, there are quite a few steps involved:

4. Choose your new Persona as standard.

I called origin support and they walked me through setting up a pogo account, then adding the pogo profile to my ea account, then they used that profile to add my game code.. then and only then did the game show up in my games in origin.

And that gets you to the point where you can redeem your EA Classics BF2 CDKey to a Origin account, that would then let you install BF2 through Origin. Which would entail redownloading BF2.

A top for using Origin client, go to the Settings menu and tick the box that says "Save installation files after installation is complete", click Apply. Do that before you install, in case the installation glitches.

That's the best I can come up with.

OK, I tried this, let me tell you what I did: 1. I created a Pogo-account and added this to my EA-personas 2. I logged in to origin with this persona and klicked "Add game.." in the Origin-tab 3. I typed in the serialnumber on the backside of my BF2-manual aaaand it says that the productkey is invalid..

I'm really lost at the moment, nothing works..

You HAVE to get in contact to EA support (I did it yesterday via chat http://help.ea.com/de/contact-us/ ) and give them your BF2 serial code and your Origin E-mail adress and your BF2 soldier name. THEN they WILL add the BF2 game to Origin. (They added to my Origin account yesterday the FULL BF2 COLLECTION!

And I "only" bought BF2 only and the Special Forces addon in the shop, LOL xD ) Maybe you'll get the same!?

You missed this step:

You have to link your Pogo account to your Origin account for this to work.

No, i didn't.. I even contacted the EA-support, but they just told me the same thing as you did. I asked EA-Support, if the way of Daniel works too.. I hope it works soon..

HAVE you been IN AN ACTIVE CHAT with a support person from EA, THAT is what you need for the "EA-Classics" version of the BF2 DVD (or REALLY CD? lol ) to get to work in Origin!! THAT is only way, I also tried already long what litoralis suggested, but it seems it's not gonna work with ANY BF2 serial from the "EA-Classics" disk version...

MAILING?? You have to go to CHAT!!

LIVE-CHAT support is there in english language, I do NOT know if there is german chat support...

BUT BE AWARE, ONCE you told the support guy your e-mail adress and BF2 ingame soldier name, you probably HAVE to reset all profiles with PR Launcher to make the error message "Error 1322" or so go away.

So you have to set all settings again, controls and so on...

LIVE chat, but afaik only in "english" language, but it is easy english!

(You HAVE to go step-by-step there, enter game and click on it (Battlefield 2, on the right side, 2nd page, when you click the little arrow ">" , then when BF2 selected, click on the orange "Weiter" button right bottom side of page), select your platform then in 2nd step ("PC" probably) then again "Weiter" (orange button "continue" ), then in next step as "Issue" ("Thema") choose the answer "Problem with download/installation" (Problem mit ... du wei?t schon) and next step explain in a sentence you wand to add your BF2 serial key code to Origin so you can download the game there, altough you have it on CD/DVD already.

like this:

"Want to add BF2 game to Origin, so I can download it there too now. I have a legit serial key code for my DVD/CD already."

JUST like that, for example.

THEN it MIGHT ask you to login to Origin/EA account (or have to create new account if not yet created)
UNLESS you are logged in already in the website.

Then continue with this step: There IS a chat avalible when it is night or late evening here in Germany, THEN there WILL be a "chat" button displayed on the website.

OR you simply call a support person there, in Germany,

Those are the telephone numbers for those countries mentioned there, and it is availible ONLY from monday-saturday from 9 am till 9 pm. ("21 Uhr")

Hotline DOES cost some money!! ("Standardgeb?hren" fallen an, meaning "standard fees apply" I'd translate...)

OK, let me update this: I had a nice chat with a guy from EA-Support. I asked him, if he could add Battlefield 2 to my Origin-Games. But unfortunatley, he couldn't do that for some reason. So he said, that he told a specialist to help me. But I didn't got a mail from this specialist, so I'm still sittin' here and waiting for an e-mail.
