ATGM on BMP-2M accuracy is a joke

The "realistic" movement on the ATGM fired by the BMP-2M makes it useless against targets more than 400m away, as the sway will drive the ATGM either over the target or into the ground, making it impossible to defeat even unsuspecting armor.

Got a video? I haven't seen anything as severe as what you're describing myself. Are you saying that the missile is getting increasingly inaccurate over distance?

I'm saying that over large distances the missile sway will be so huge that it will end up hitting the ground or flying over the target. If my internet wasn't so shit when it comes to upload speed i'd post a video, but it's easily tested.

Playing Khamysia today i was running a BMP-2M squad and had 3 BMPs fire 1 ATGM each at an abrams side armor at the max viewdistance of the map (not sure how far it is), even with the crosshairs centered on the target 2 of the missiles hit the ground ~30m before the tank and the other one just flew over. After that we lost 2 BMPs to that same abrams, leaving enough time for the remaining one to fire again, which resulted in the ATGM hitting the ground, again, around 30m short.

Sounds like armor had a good time :)
Apart, when we were in BMP-3 on Bijar, we took out 2 tanks and 1 APC by one shot ATGM.
Distance was over 400m for all targets.
AT Missiles are less accurate, true, but personally I haven't had any issues like u described now.
Maybe just bad luck?

Anyways, if more people believe that there is something wrong, we will surely improve it ;)
Thanks for the feedback.

Only shot 1 ATGM missile since the upgrade. It hit the ground 20m away from my vehicle. Same thing happened to a TOW MT-LB on Silent Eagle the other day. They fired at a tank, but hit the ground 30m away from them instead.

I only can say BMP-3 ATGM accuracy is perfect on all ranges, it might be only the BMP-2 ATGM that inaccurate...

Just tested the bmp2 on khamisya; and on 800 meters i had no problems. Aimed center mass on abrams and hit center mass.

It's pretty accurate if you ask me.

They aren't supposed to be 100% accurate.

Shouldn't the tank die if 2 ATGM's hit it?

All the BMP's are epicly good.

Wouldn't mind seeing the bmp's on more maps with Russia or MEC or who ever.

Please, try the Shturm (RU-TOW Apc) missile, am I right, missile is going MUCH too fast and MUCH too big circles? (From my experience on 100 ping US server) o_O

In my experience the accuracy itself is okay, however the overall jerky movement should be reduced because:
1. If you're taking cover behind a hill there's a huge chance ATGM is going to hit that hill right in front of you. Happened multiple times with BMP and Sthurm.
2. If your target is behind concealment (behind a wall for example) ATGM has a big chance of hitting that concealment instead of the target.

2nd point also applies to guided HAT kits.

Sounds like it's working as intended.

I must agree with the missile sway is a bit much. They do sway but they don't sway to such drastic measures that they don't stray off target. I have had this experience, i have been on both ends of it. i have been missed, and i have been killed because of it.

It's easy as ***, just aim higher above the target and when you fire the missile, aim low, on the target again. It is that easy. ;)
