Kit wise, Canada and Germany. Canada's C7/C8 is a brutal and versatile rifle, deadlier than its M4/M16 brothers, even crewmen have decent optics on their carbines, and their HAT kit is possibly the best ingame.
Germans also have great rifles, but their HAT kit is really hard to use with an MP7 and the PzF3.

When it comes to assets, China is pretty sick on some maps (Black Gold: ATGM capable MBT and IFV, ATGM carrier ...), but all factions have a couple of great toys.

I really like playing Germany for some reason. Lashkar and Silent Eagle are two of my favorite maps because of it. And once it gets finished I'll probably love the Dutch faction. Gotta represent my people

German faction/Bundeswehr. I just love the G36, especially since the awesome backupsight system. Barbie-Gewehr 4life!

Canada; the C7 destroys anything at close range, and performs very well at medium range too.

British, I like the vehicles and way of talking.
I almost never play as Canadians not many layers played with them but like them for how far i know.

What's your favourite Faction in PR 1.x ?

British, nice vehicles, nice weapon (l85 just looks so cool), nice scopes and some nice maps to play on.

As an infantry-only man I would say I have the most fun playing as the Russians and the Canadians. It was pointed out early all the Canadian guns rock and they have good optics as well, and as for Russia I like the 74 iron sights and don't mind the big scope either. I usually play as LAT whenever possible and I like that the Russian LAT kit gets one Aglen for standard and two RPG-7s for alternate. My only real wish for the Russians is that their breacher get a shotgun, but I don't know a lot about modern weapons so maybe there's a good reason they don't have one.

That's a super tough question! It's like picking your favorite child, though I'm glad I don't have 18 children!!!

1.Germans
Why?
The Vehicles, my god. They are just epic.
The G36C, man. IF I had a choice in a Zombie Apocolypse, it would be the G36C.
The Camo is sexy too.

2.Habs (Canadians)
Best CQB Weapon in game. Definently is like Laser Accurate.
Don't care for the tanks or vehicles.
Love the Habs camo on Kashan

3.US Army and USMC
Definently the best variety of weapons.
Can't beat the infamous Abrahm Tank!
Love the Camo for some reason.

4.GB
Definently the better weapon coming to longer range combat.
The Back Up Sight is cute.
Vehicles are good against the MEC.

5.IDF
I love the TAR21. Definently good for City Battles.
I like the tanks. Definently can wreck a few tanks up with the ATGM.

6.French
Best weapons in game for Urban Combat.
Don't care for the vehicles much.

7.Insurgents (Allah Akbar!)
Fun to play as.
You can release your anger for what ever you hate on the Blufor.
The Gary is a nuke just waiting for that FOB

8.PLA
I like their APC, it's very mobile.
They have awesome jets too, I can't seem to find a good agile get.
Very cool camo's.

9.Militia
by far the best 'insurgent' faction in game. I love the militia to death.

10.Russians
The MTLB's wreck Hell!
T90's are unstoppable, unless that CAS kills them.
The AK is the shit!

I always liked the MEC for their infantry weapons. While I never cared for them before 1.0, the Hamas have become quite interesting for me lately, I just enjoy the SMG. Other than that, Germans for their fancy weapons.

To a lesser degree, I like all irregular factions. I've always been an infantry guy, and I prefer short-range weapons, so Milita can be quite fun, for example. Never cared for AR-15s, so the US factions are sort of meh.

QBZ-95 feels soooo good.
But I still love GB's L85. soooooooo sweeeet.

G3 is powerful, But I suck on it...

canadians. simply the best weapons currently in game. very good rpm and probably the best back up sights in pr. and theyre also competitive at longer ranges.
also i like they have german assets (leo, g-klasse)
so theyre kinda like the germans with better weapons

With and without a doubt, German Forces. DAT G3 AND G36 IN THE SAME FACTION

gotta go with the home team here, but from an objective/armament/playability point of view, the top 5 would go something like this:
