Insurgency, bugs, warts and all

It completely numbs my mind that Insurgency is still seeing play despite an absolutely mind-numbingly game-breaking bug that's in it. Consider all the complaints over the years about hackers and ghosting, this is worst than that, and it's as though every single person on a 50 player team is using the hack in addition to all the other advantages that Blufor have.
I know there was a thread made about this on release and that the Devs have noted it and temporarily solved the problem, but decided not to hotfix it or patch it until they have more content to justify the work involved in producing a patch. I get it. I respect that you're a volunteer dev team and I respect the huge work involved. Many years ago I fiddled with animations hoping to contribute to the game and I fully appreciate the huge work that goes into this.
This thread isn't complaining at you.
Every time there's a mapvote, almost ENTIRELY without exception, all of Redfor votes for Insurgency and all of Blufor votes for AAS. There was always sort of a trend in this direction, but never as pronounced as now because Insurgency was never as pants on head retarded as now. When the map starts, there's still a rush for people to try and join Blufor and kick people off Blufor, using teamswap hacks or just spamming in hope. Every single time I play on any server, the Blufor team is stacked with server admins or members of the clan that owns the server.
Insurgency has always been a divisive issue in this game, but the entire game mode is literally bugged as fuck right now. Even if we were polite and pretended that there wasn't a sizeable minority of people who cheat in this game, and even a cursory google search will tell you that isn't the case (hell, reading chat in the few remaining prominent servers reveals prominent people openly talking about cheating), insurgency right now is worse than having a whole team of hackers against a whole team of non-hackers. Can you imagine how much people would pay to have a hack that enables one shot kills anywhere?
I'm not saying Insurgency is unwinnable or anything right now (because god knows, there have probably been fewer rounds than you have fingers that an INS team has actually had a higher KDR than Blufor in the last few years), I'm saying it's stupid. It's the very definition of frustration and retardedness, and it's still on everyone's map rotations.
If the community were still in a healthier state, as it was a few years ago in the 0.6-0.9 days and there was a page worth of populated servers someone could join, it wouldn't be so bad. Some people are masochists and have always loved the punishment, sorry challenge, of the Insurgent experience, no matter how stacked the cards are on a given map. But plenty of other people would rather sidestep the one dimensional gameplay, particularly when it's as pants on head retarded as it is now, but we can't anymore. People are forced onto a few servers because the community is so small now; the douchebaggery that ensues is only tolerated at all by many people because there are no other options left for us. The fact that you still get Koreans, Japanese and Australians playing with 200-350 ping on your servers because our communities died should be enough to tell you that there are a hell of a lot of people that are on your servers because you're the last place standing.
So, to everyone spamming the INS votes, to admins who think it's good for the health of PR to put half their server through agony every second round, to everyone spamming teamswaps to get on Blufor and kick last round's Redfor off, to the asset whores, to the server admins who don't enforce their own rules properly on INS, to the at least once a round Blufor squad who camps the Ins main and finally to the publically self admitted ghosters you aren't helping the game even a little bit right now. I'd honest to god rather play the iteration of insurgency where no hideouts could be spawned than the one where every single Blufor soldier has a .50 caliber assault rifle, and if any of you admins bothered to join pub squads on Insurgent teams, you'd know that a hell of a lot of your player base feels the similarly.
So, to all offending parties, I propose a toast: "To killing PR a little bit at a time, may one day none of us have a place to play."
