XP: Prlauncer.exe is not a valid Win32 application

Hey everyone. I've looked at the forums but my problem hasn't been answered before so I'll post it here.

I've run my copy of PR perfectly on my vista machine at home, yet I gave it to my friend and he installed it onto his copy of BF2, he encountered this error.

He runs Windows XP 32 bit, has more than enough ram and CPU to run normal BF2, yet can't open the launcher.

Any solution?

Note: His version of BF2 is fully updated, he's been able to run forgotten hope 2 and sandbox as well.

Either the file itself is corrupted or your friend's XP computer is missing .NET (dot net)

How did you give it to your friend? Did you give him the .iso and he properly installed it? Or did you just copy mods/pr?

Because there are differences between the install on Vista 64bit and XP 32bit, as the launcher is 32bit/64bit, and the installer will install the correct version for your OS. If you attempt to run a 64bit application on 32bit windows, it will give this error.

Reinstall using the installer.
