I get an error.. please reply as im getting annoyed with it.



57:Update failed. Unable to copy update executable to temporary directory.

C:\Users\Dale\AppData\Local\Temp\ProjectRealityUpd ate


i have no antivirus installed so no its not that i dont think. please reply

Try to start PR Launcher and go to "Options">"Global" and change the "Update Download Location" to your Download's Folder or something.

It seems the program is trying to download the updates but classic windows is giving problems with the permissions.

Nope gave me the exact same error.

Try to start PR Launcher and go to "Options">"Global"
and
change the "Update Download Location" to C:\PR\Downloads
and
change the "Update Log Location" to C:\PR\Logs

I still get the same error even after changing it to downloads and logs. this is the errorlog

What OS are you using?
Are you logged in as a admin?

In windows Explorer: Go to C:\Users\Dale\AppData\Local\Temp\
RIght click on ProjectRealityUpdate directory
Properties
Attributes - >remove read only
Security Tab
Make sure all the users have full control over the directory.
Click Apply,

Then try again.

any reasons why my ping is spiking from 90-600?

Dlzrrr, was having the same problem on the German located servers today.
It's outside of our control today, try other servers to test.

IF you don't have problems playing other online games, I think it's something at that German data center.
